Family Photo Session

On a sunny Sunday morning, I met up with this beautiful family at a local park. It was one of those slow Sundays, where men with fishing poles and women in wetsuits ambled without hurry, without the weight of the week down to the water.

And this family, full of sweetness, full of fun, showcased their love. It was a joy to be there, and witness their care and respect for each other.

They wore traditional Indian dress for this photo session, and looked stunning. The bright colors played beautifully against the natural background. But more than that, the bright spirit of this family shone through in every frame.

I think one of the best things about being a family portrait photographer is seeing how the families interact with each other. The small things, like how this Dad fixed a button at his daughter’s ankle. Or how much these kids really love their parents, and easily showed it.

And just look at the smile on Dad’s face! These are the moments I know they’ll treasure as the years sweep by. The kids snuggled right into him for this photo.

In just about an hour, we captured treasured memories. Photos of everyone together having fun, and also some individual portraits.

I’m so happy to have shared the day with these fine folks. They truly are a beautiful family, inside and out. Until next time, my friends!

    1. Thanks, Otto! It’s always so nice to hear from you. I wonder how you saw this, as I don’t even have my blog published anymore… I’m just trying to maintain my site and will hopefully add it back in later. Anyway, glad you saw it, and thanks for the kind words!
